I guess Kelsey was really feeling the pressure after Tyra let me watch her give birth to Adric...because she called me this week and invited me to come to Rexburg today to watch her give birth to Adalyn Chase Muir--a beautiful 7lb. 6oz. 19 3/4 in. baby girl.
But, Kelsey insisted that there were rules that I had to follow. I was not allowed to watch her get the epidural and I must stand by her head the entire time. I--not very willingly--followed her rules, and it still was another awesome experience!
Kelsey got an epidural around 2pm after they'd broken her water and then they started her on her Pit around 2:30pm. My parents brought Kennedy and Mason up around 4pm and then the wait was on. Kelsey was smooth sailing and made an epidural look VERY enticing...she only pushed twice and didn't even break a sweat to get the baby to arrive at 6:07pm. As with all of the babies in our family, she had a full head of dark hair--she was struggling to breath at first and they actually had to cut the umbilical chord before she was all the way out because it was wrapped so tightly around her neck. But she got her color back pretty quick and didn't cry AT ALL. She was ready to eat though! I think she came out looking for food....Anyway, here she is:

She's a cutie. How are you going to babysit 6 nieces and nephews now?
She is so cute! I can't wait for that day! I am glad that everything went well for her and she only had to push twice! You look so cute with her!
