My parents and I took a trip to visit Jake at the ranch he has been working at this past weekend. He has been busy loping horses all day, every day. He has his own little bunk house and Rowdy has been keeping him company. It was great to be able to spend some time with him and in his element...
Jake's House
Rowdy
The Big House
The Barn--which happens to be bigger & worth 5x as much as my house in Ogden.
But our team, Project Runway Far, was so much fun. And I might be biased (of course I am), but Van 1 rocked. And rolled. And laughed. And ate. But never, ever slept.
Well, it's hard for me to admit, but I'm still a Utard. I have lived in Ogden now for 13 years! Yikes! Someday I dream of returning to God's Country--aka Idaho for those of you underprivileged citizens of the United States--yet I don't quite know what I'll do when I get there. I guess it's true--you can take the girl out of the small town, but you just can't take the small town out of the girl.
I am still coaching at Weber State and I still enjoy it...it keeps me young and allows me to know the lyrics to all of the Top 40 songs. And how do you think I came to know about Facebook, Myspace, and blogging in the first place?!
